Galaxy S II sales hit 1 mln in South Korea

Korean mobile operators said over 1 million Samsung Galaxy S II phones have been activated in just over month since the handset's launch. SK Telecom activated 550,000 Galaxy S II smartphones while KT sold 300,000 units, and LG Uplus sold 150,000 units, The JoongAng Daily reports. Samsung claimed nearly 60 percent of Korea's mobile phone sales in May, its highest monthly market share this year.
