

Alvirne's Taylor Carbone received all-state first team honors.
Taylor Carbone got more than just a Division I softball title this season. The Alvirne High School junior was one of 11 area players named all-state first team.
Carbone received Division I first-team honors, along with Jacklyn Dubois of Bishop Guertin, Rachel Bohannan of Merrimack, Mary Fontaine of Nashua South and Julie Curran of Nashua North. Curran?s teammate, Aimee Lalancette, was named to the second team while Jenna Giannelli of Alvirne and Bri Demers of Merrimack were named honorable mention.
In Division II, Bedford?s Casey Levis and Heather Fyfe received first-team honors, along with Hollis/Brookline?s Kaitlyn Sliger and Souhegan?s Val Mukai. Three players earned second-team honors: Kirstin Bergen of Hollis/Brookline, Angela Mukai of Souhegan and Jessica Byrne of Milford.
Wilton-Lyndeborough?s Dennis Claire received Coach of the Year honors in Division IV, sharing the award with Woodsville?s Dana Huntington.
Sam Broderick and Kaite Day of W-L both were named to the division first team, while teammate Deanna Davidson was named honorable mention.
