Veritas Collaborative ? a Specialty Behavioral Health Hospital for Young People & Center of Excellence for the Treatment of Eating Disorders ? seeks candidates for a full-time position of Psychotherapist. As an inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization treatment center committed to best-practice and evidence-based care, this is an exciting opportunity for a LCSW with a specialty/interest in the treatment of eating disorders and an interest/background in Dialectical Behavior Therapy preferred. Veritas Collaborative?s treatment model is rooted in DBT and a comprehensive family program for patients and their families.

Psychotherapists are responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapies, as well as providing utilization reviews on occasion and participating in our multidisciplinary treatment team. The candidate who fills this position will serve as a professional role model, leader, mentor, and clinical resource/educator for patient, families, and colleagues. A background in DBT and/or eating disorders treatment is required along with experience in working with adolescents and adults. Caseload will vary according to group needs.

Chief Responsibilities:

? Serving as a core member of the Veritas Collaborative multidisciplinary treatment team ? Performing biopsychosocial assessments on all patients to determine social service needs, diagnoses, and initial/ongoing plans of care ? Providing individual & family therapy to assigned patient caseload and their families ? Providing crisis intervention and on-call services as needed and as scheduled ? Applying sound theoretical knowledge of adolescent/young adult psychopathology and corresponding treatment modalities ? Communicating with family members and caretakers regarding patient needs & plans of care ? Developing comprehensive discharge plans with a emphasis on provider collaboration and exceptional continuity of care ? Participation in patient meals, as needed
