Platform Evangelist for the emo2 Platform and SDK ? HasGeek Job ...

emo2 is a funded startup working on touch and gesture computing products. emo2 is based out of Chennai, India.

Emo2 is looking for a Platform Evangelist for its soon to be available platform and SDK. This role will drive the development of third party applications, by evangelizing the benefits of the emo2 platform to the developer community, providing technical support, developing tools enabling easier use of the platform, advocating internally for developer needs, and working with strategic partners to push the platform to its limit. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fluid start-up environment, and will bring an energetic, good-spirited and creative approach to their work.

Key responsibilities:

?????? Drive widespread development of emo2 SDK third-party applications by being ?the face? of emo2 to the developer community.

?????? Provide technical documentation/tutorials/tools to the community and participate in technical discussions around implementation.

?????? Work with the CEO and President to identify key strategic partners and lead API integration efforts.

?????? Advocate for developer needs internally by partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Development.

Requirements:

?????? BE/BTech in Computer Science or related technical field.

?????? MBA preferred, but not required.

?????? Software development experience, command of several programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Python, Javascript, PHP, RESTful interfaces, OAuth, OpenID) and willngess to write example programs to showcase power of the platform.

?????? Proven ability to communicate with a broad range of audiences, from hackers to business partners.

?????? Charismatic online and offline presence via active participation in online forums, tech talks, and conferences.

?????? Strong technical writing skills.

?????? Passion for cutting edge technologies (in both hardware and software) in computing.

Strong consideration will be given to applicants that provide links to their technical blog or past speaking engagements.?
